Transport Information

Rental Cars: We recomend hiring a car for the duration of your stay, from either Pescara airport, Rome Ciapino or Rome Fiumicino. Alternatively, there are rental places in L'Aquila itself.

Buses:  There are buses to L'Aquila, which stop at the bottom of the village, near the private tennis courts. If you require bus services to Pescara, Sulmona or more frequent L'Aquila buses, then you can wait at the main road (SS17), near the roundabout. Train Services: The nearest train station is Bussi. To find out more about trains, pleae click here.

By car: The Autostrada (Italian Motorway) connects to all the major regions of Italy.

Airports: 

Rome is an easy 2 hour drive. You can fly into either:

Rome Ciampino - Easyjet and other airlines fly here.
 
Rome Fiumicino - Emirates, BA, Alitalia and other airlines fly here.

Pescara is the nearest city airport. This is 40 minutes drive. Alitalia and Ryanair are the main airlines, but there are others too.
